Join us to explore current ethical and legal issues which raise controversial questions arising in healthcare that impact on the lives of us all. The key themes are:
Suing doctors and the blaming culture; Issues in mental health - anorexia nervosa and mental capacity; Routine testing in pregnancy; Assisted dying - the fate of the Falconer Bill
Speakers at the event will include:
Margot Brazier, Simona Giordano, Becki Bennett and Alex Mullock.
There will be an opportunity to discuss these current themes in an open debate, network with peers and professionals in the field, and find our more about studying healthcare ethics and law at The University of Manchester.
