초록[abstracts]
본 연구의 목적은 부모의 죽음을 경험한 중년 여성들을 대상으로 부모의 죽음 경험에 대한 글쓰기를 시행한 후 글쓰기 체험은 어떠하였으며 그 체험의 의미는 무엇인지 심층적으로 이해하고자 한다. 이를 위해 부모의 죽음을 경험한지 만 5년 이내의 기간이 경과하고 40세에서 60세 사이의 3명의 여성 참여자를 대상으로 Jonathan Smith(2015)의 해석현상학적 분석에 기초하여 예비연구, 연구참여자 선정, 참여자의 글쓰기 수행 후 인터뷰를 통한 자료 수집, 자료 분석 및 글쓰기의 절차로 진행하였다.
분석 결과, 중년 여성 참여자들은 부모의 죽음 경험에 대한 글쓰기 과정을 통해 4개의 상위주제와 13개의 하위주제로 구성되는 체험을 하였다. 첫째, ‘서투르지만 안전한 공간, 글’은 중년 여성 참여자들은 오랜만에 글을 쓰면서 막막함을 느꼈으며 다중역할로 바쁜 일상 중에 자신만을 위한 시간을 내는데 어려움을 있었으나 충분히 다루지 못했던 부모의 죽음 경험에 대해 허심탄회하게 털어놓기를 할 수 있는 경험이었다. 둘째, ‘고통의 자락마다 나아가고 머무르기를 반복하다’는 참여자들이 글을 쓰면서 술술 써내려 갈 때와 막혀서 써지지 않는 경험을 했는데 이는 부모의 죽음에 대한 참여자들의 마음이 담긴 지점이었다. 슬픔, 분노, 죄책감, 죽음에 대한 절감 등이 나타났다. 셋째, ‘내가 서 있는 자리를 보다’는 글쓰기 체험을 통해 막연하던 삶의 유한함이 명확하게 다가왔고 보편적이지만 개별적인 사건인 부모의 죽음의 내밀한 고통과 만났으며 성숙을 요구받는 중년이라는 나이를 경험하였다. 넷째, ‘물리적 부재를 수용하는 내 안의 공존’은 참여자들은 글쓰기 체험을 통해 상실을 오롯이 담아내려 했고 이는 자신을 이해하고 싶은 용서의 마음이었다는 인식을 하게 되었다. 또한 부모의 죽음 경험에 대한 글쓰기 체험은 중년 여성 참여자들에게 남아있는 인생을 성찰하는 마중물의 역할을 한 것으로 드러났다.
본 연구는 부모의 죽음을 경험한 중년 여성의 글쓰기 체험을 심층적으로 살펴봄으로써 글쓰기 과정 속에 녹아있는 체험적 의미를 세밀하게 볼 수 있는 자료를 제시하는데 의의를 갖는다. 또한, 글쓰기 체험이 상담이나 심리치료 현장에서 부모의 죽음으로 고통을 겪고 있는 내담자의 심리적 안녕을 돕기 위한 치료적 개입 방안으로 활용될 수 있는 기초자료를 제공한다는 의미를 갖는다.

초록[abstracts]
The purpose of this study is to understand deeply what the writing experience is and what the meaning of the experience is after writing about the death experiences of parents in middle age women who experienced parental death. To this end, Jonathan Smith (2015) interpretive phenomenology for three female participants between the ages of 40 and 60 years, Based on the analysis, we conducted preliminary research, selection of research participants, data collection through interview after participant 's writing, data analysis and writing procedure.
As a result of the analysis, the middle - aged women participated in the writing process of the parent 's death experience and consisted of 4 high - level topics and 13 sub - topics. First, 'Surfer but safe space, writing' means that the middle-aged women participated in writing for a long time and felt a sense of culpability. In their multiple roles, they had difficulty in taking time for their own busy life. However, It was an experience to be able to tell. Second, the participants who wrote "Repeat the process of going through the pain of the suffering" wrote an essay when they were writing, and they had a feeling that they could not get used to it. Sadness, anger, guilt, and death. Third, I came to the limit of life which was vague through the experience of writing "I look at the place where I am standing", and met with the intense pain of the universal but individual event of the death of the parents and experienced the middle age demanding maturity. Fourth, 'coexistence in my acceptance of physical absence' means that the participants tried to put the loss through the writing experience and realized that it was the forgiveness of wanting to understand oneself. In addition, the writing experiences of parents' death experiences were found to play a role of primer in reflecting on the life remaining for middle - aged female participants.
The purpose of this study is to examine the experience of writing experiences of middle - aged women who experienced parental death in detail. It also means that writing experience provides basic data that can be used as a therapeutic intervention to help the client 's psychological wellbeing suffering from parental death in counseling or psychotherapy field.
