초록
Embryonic stem cell research is one of the most prospective research fields in clinical areas for treatment of rare diseases and yet untreatable diseases. The internship training for two weeks in the stem cell laboratory of the Institute of Reproductive Medicine and Population was a great opportunity to gain tangible experiences by working in an actual laboratory. The training program consists of culture and characterization of undifferentiated stem cell. This internship has provided an experience of not only specific experimental procedures and the latest stem cell which is necessary one should have research trends in biology and medicine, but also the interrelations among science, technology and medical application.
