- Application of Medical Ethics in Wang Yang-Ming’s Thought. TAE-HWAN PARK Department of philosophy Graduate School of Chung Nam University This thesis is a study of about medical ethics in Wang Yang-Ming’s thought. Wang Yang-Ming said that realizing the justification depending on mind of benevolence. It preserve nature of life and general trust with everyone’yang-ji in nature. And we realized justifiable heaven’s principle and gyeok-mul in concrete situation. I will examine Wang Yang-Ming’s view of life and death and consider medical aspect of medical ethics. Depending on these discussion, I will examine the limitation , benefit and potentiality of Wang Yang-Ming’s thought appling to our life, and show the alternative view of development of our medical ethics. Wang Yang-Ming showed gyeok-mul as a process realizing in yang-ji and getting of justification. Gyeok-mul make true unimpaired natural substance, which is along to the heaven’s principle and make clear bright virtue. Meanwhile gyeok-mul is based on heaven’s principle, which comes from yang-ji that preserved natural connaturality . I propose two thesis which are deservedness and preserve of connaturality for application of today's medical ethics, and search for the possibility of application too. key words: Wang Yang-Ming, medical ethics, yang-ji, gyeok-mul, connaturality
