초록[abstracts]

[최근 한국사회는 세계적인 추세에 따라 빠르게 다문화사회로 변모하고 있다. 미래 한국사회에서 다문화학생은 우리사회의 소중한 자원이며 중요한 사회구성원이다. 그러나 다양한 배경을 가진 다문화 학생들이 우리사회의 고정관념과 편견, 교육소외로 많은 어려움을 격고 있다. 이 연구는 현재 진행되는 다문화 교육의 문제점을 도출하여 미래사회 한국 다문화 교육정책의 방향을 모색하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 먼저 다문화가정의 실태, 다문화 가정 자녀 및 학생현황을 파악하여 다문화교육의 필요성을 확인한 후 교육부와 ･여성가족부, 그리고･법무부에서 실시하는 다문화교육 정책 추이를 살펴보고, 관련 자료를 근거로 현행 한국 다문화 교육정책의 문제점을 분석하였다. 현행 다문화 교육의 문제점은 다문화교육에 대한 이해 부족, 일관성 없는 다문화교육정책과 부처 간 소통 부재, 일방적인 한국문화 주입과 강요 그리고 관련 기관 협력부재와 사회관계망 부족을 들 수 있다. 이를 토대로 미래사회 다문화 교육정책의 방향을 제시하였다., Recently, Korean society has rapidly become a multicultural society in accordance with the global trend. In the future Korean society, multicultural students are important resources of our society and important members of society. However, multicultural students with diverse backgrounds face many difficulties with stereotypes, prejudices, and educational alienation in our society. The purpose of this study is to explore the direction of multicultural education policy in the future society by deriving the problems of current multicultural education. In order to do this, we first examine the current status of multicultural families, the status of children and students in multicultural families, and identify the need for multicultural education. After examining the trends in multicultural education policies implemented by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family and the Ministry of Justice, we analyzed the problems of Korean multicultural education policy. Problems of current multicultural education include the lack of understanding of multicultural education, inconsistent multicultural education policy and absence of communication between ministries and agencies, unilateral Korean culture injection, absence of cooperation between related organizations, and shortage of social networks. Based on this, the future direction of multicultural education policy was suggested.]
