Induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) are reprogrammed pluripotent-like cells holding great promise in regenerative medicine. There are numerous reports about the disease-specific derivation of iPSCs and analyses due to their almost embryonic stem cells-like abilities of self-renewing and differentiation into most of cell types. These features of iPSCs make them consider as a unique human cell model that is capable of replacing diverse animal models. In this review, we present an overview of the usage of iPSC-derived cardiomyocyte(iPSC-CM)as a human model of various heritable cardiac disorder.
