Aims of this study are the establishment of the faithful research culture which can be trusted by everyone, and the research improvement through making up for the education of research ethics, after Hwang Woo Suk incident 2005.
In this paper, I analyzed problems in the research ethics education scene and proposed to strengthen the case studies. I also applied the solutions in the secondary education curriculum, so that it can be maximized the effect of education on the prevention of research misconduct.
According to the parliamentary inspection of the administration in 2010, the research misconducts corresponding to the heavy penalty did not decreased. Further, 43.5% of the universities and 66.8% of the academics did not performed the research ethics education.
The atmosphere of the research ethics education that is being conducted was conventional, neither the teaching method was not good enough to educate the research ethics.
In order to solve this problem, and improve the devotion of audience, I suggested the solutions after analyzing the classic cases which are presented in the context of the situation rather than results. The solutions which I described here can take advantage of the educational content of teenager.
In this year, even though the Ministry of Education is prompting STEAM education, the office do not provide the distinct teaching methods and educational content.
As an alternative method, I devised the proper case of 'discussions', 'simulations', 'role-playing' in order to develop higher mental processes which are described in this dissertation. This instructional model based on ethics topic which is designed here, will improve the research ethics consciousness in the next generation of researchers.
