장기기증희망자의 뇌사, 장기기증 및 이식에 대한 지식과 태도

의학기술의 발달로 인간의 평균수명이 증가하고 장기이식술도 또한 말기 장기 부전증 환자와 가족에게 삶의 희망을 안겨주는 유일한 치료방법이 되고 있으며, 장기기증 활성화 방안이 중요한 문제로 대두되고 있다. 이에 본 연구자는 장기기증희망자의 뇌사와 장기기증 및 장기이식과 관련된 지식과 태도를 연구함으로서 장기기증의 활성화 전략, 홍보 및 교육에 대한 기초자료를 제공하고자 시도하였다.
연구 대상은 G시에 소재한 종합병원 장기이식센터에 2000년부터 2007년까지 장기기증희망자로 등록한 대상자 91명이다.
자료수집은 2008년 1월 28일부터 2월 28일까지였으며, 연구도구는Hillman(1984)이 조직 및 장기기증과 장기이식에 대한 지식 및 태도에 관하여 개발한 도구를 주애은(1995)이 번역 수정한 도구를 사용하였다.
자료분석은 SPSS WIN 14.0 program을 이용하여 분석 처리하였다.
