caregivers were sampled out of main caregivers.
Data were collected by triangulation of qualitative and quantitative data. To acquire quantitative data, 5 pairs of adjectives of semantic differential method by Jang, Donghwan (1964) which were composed
of four areas such as appraising factor, potency factor, active factor, and metal factor were used. Five pairs were composed of the followings; two pairs (baddy-good, defective-OK) in appraising factor, One pair(helpless-competent) in potency factor, one pair in active factor(risky-stable), and one pair(distressed-comfortable) in mental factor. The higher scores out of 10cm mean positive response. The lower scores mean negative response out of 10cm points. Qualitative
data were collected by open question, ‘How do you feel now’?
Quantitative data used paired t-test by inputting each point into data processing system. Qualitative data used computer program for morpheme analysis based on web by Gang, Namjun.
In adjective analysis which is quantitative data, 4.82 cm ± 1.83 were figures before injecting sedative. It increased to 6.53cm ± 1.17 after injection.
