The
purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of outpatients' admissive
channels to small and medium hospitals on their satisfaction with the medical
services, their intention to recommend the hospital to others and reuse its
services. For this purpose, this study randomly sampled 10% of the
outpatients who had been admitted to 'M' hospital in Seoul for the period
from October, 2016 to March, 2017; 432 outpatients responded to the
questionnaire survey. The data collected from the survey were processed using
the SPSS 18 statistical program for frequency analysis, cross analysis and
linear regression analysis.
The results of this study can be
summarized as follows;
First, the majority of the subjects
were new patients and in their 40's, while being guided by an off-line
advertisement. Those recommended by their relatives were mostly in their
20's, 60's or 70's. Those who were living in the vicinity of the hospital
were mostly women, new patients and Gangseo-gu residents.
Secondly, in view of the
departments of the hospital, most of the subjects who had been recommended by
relatives were admitted to such departments as family medicine, maternity and
subfertility, while most of the subjects who lived in the vicinity of the
hospital were admitted to internal medicine, urology, pediatrics and
surgery.
Thirdly, the channel whereby the
subjects paid most (164,307 Won) was recommendation by the relatives, followed
by that of other hospitals (159,284 Won), on/off-line advertisements (147,531
Won), and the geographic vicinity (135,767 Won) in their order.
Fourthly, as a result of analyzing
the effects of the admissive channels on satisfaction with the medical
services, intention of re-using the hospital and recommending the hospital to
others, it was found that those who had been recommended by relatives scored
highest (0.929), followed by those who had been recommended by other
hospitals (0.884). It was also found that recommendation by relatives or
other hospitals were significantly effective in view of intention of re-using
the hospital and recommending the hospital to others. Hence, it is required
of the small and medium hospitals to cooperate with other primary hospitals
in their vicinities and make use of their vicinity networks. Furthermore,
they are obliged to survey their patients' needs and thereby, improve their
comprehensive medical services with enhanced marketing.
Lately, as the competition among
hospitals has been fierce, many hospitals have been reinforcing their advertisement
in an effort to highlight their differentiation from other medical
institutions. However, this study could not confirm that on/off-line
advertisements would have effects on patients' satisfaction, intention of
re-using the hospital and recommending it to others. Nevertheless, many
hospitals still invest much in advertisements and P. R., but we have yet to
verify their effects on patients' satisfaction or their intention of re-using
the hospital or recommending it to others. |

본
연구는 중소 병원 외래환자의 내원경로가 고객 만족도, 추천 의향 및 재이용 의향에 미치는 영향을 분석하고자 서울시에 소재한 M병원의
2016년 10월부터 2017년 3월까지 내원한 외래 환자 중 10%를 무작위로 추출한 후 병원 마케팅 설문에 응한 환자 총 432명을
대상으로 하였다. SPSS 18 통계 프로그램을 이용하였으며, 빈도분석, 교차분석, 선형회귀분석 등을 사용하였다.
주요 결과로는 첫째, 내원경로별 환자 특성으로는 온, 오프라인
광고에서는 신환과 40대가 가장 많았다. 지인 추천의 경우 20대와 60대, 70대가 많았다. 인근 지역에서 방문한 경우는 여성이,
신환이면서, 강서구에 거주할 때 가장 많았다.
둘째, 내원경로의 진료과적 특성으로는 가정의학과, 산부인과,
난임은 지인 추천으로 방문한 사람이 가장 많았고, 내과, 비뇨기과, 소아과, 외과에서는 인근 지역이 가장 많았다.
셋째,
가장 많은 진료비를 지출하는 경로는 지인 추천으로 164,307원이었고 다음은 타 병원 추천 159,284원, 온, 오프라인
광고 147,531원, 인근 지역이 135,767원 순으로 지출하였다.
넷째, 내원경로가 만족도, 재이용 의향, 추천 의향에 미치는
영향 분석 결과 지인의 소개나 추천으로 방문한 지인 추천(0.929)과 타 병원의 권유나 추천으로 방문한 타 병원 추천(0.884)이
만족도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 재이용 의향과 추천 의향에도 지인 추천과 타 병원 추천은 유의한 영향이 있는 것으로
나타났다. 연구결과 핵심으로 만족도나 추천 의향, 재이용 의향 등에 지인 추천과 타 병원 추천이 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서
중소 병원에서도 주변 일차 병원들과 진료 협력을 맺는 등 주변 병원의 네트워크를 잘 활용하는 것이 필요하며, 환자 하나하나가 만족할 수
있도록 환자들의 요구 사항을 조사하여 그에 맞추어 병원의 종합적인 질 향상 및 마케팅 노력이 필요하다.
최근 병원들은 경쟁구도 등으로 타 의료기관과의 차별성을 부각시키기
위해 광고를 강화하고 있지만 본 연구에선 온, 오프라인 광고를 통해 방문한 환자의 만족도, 재이용 의향, 추천 의향에 유의한 영향을 미치지
않았다.
병원들이 광고나 홍보에 비용을 쓰고 노력을 하고 있는데 실제로 그
효과가 환자의 만족도나, 추천 의향, 재이용 의향 등에 긍정적으로 영향을 주는지 정기적으로 확인해야 될 것이다. |
